Nikki Smith

Nikki Smith is a Certified Athletic Therapist and the founder of Revolution Rehab. Her work is grounded in a long-standing connection to movement and a belief that effective rehabilitation should be thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in real-world demands.

Before beginning her academic training, Nikki worked professionally as a dancer, director, and instructor. Her early career in movement performance continues to influence how she approaches assessment, rehabilitation, and education today. While attending university, she remained active in dance and worked as a lifeguard and swimming instructor at the Pan Am Pool, further shaping her understanding of physical capacity, safety, and injury prevention.

Revolution Rehab was founded by Nikki in 2016 to create a clinic environment where therapists have the time, autonomy, and support to deliver meaningful care. As both a clinician and clinic owner, Nikki is closely involved in day-to-day operations, client care, mentorship, and the ongoing development of the clinic’s approach.

In September 2024, Nikki became a parent, an experience that has further reinforced the importance of practical, adaptable care that fits into busy, real lives. This perspective continues to shape how rehabilitation is delivered at Revolution Rehab, with clarity, intention, and respect for the full context of each person.

Likes: Movement in all forms, teaching and mentoring, supporting other professionals, problem-solving, sushi, birthday cake, soap making, listening to people talk about what they’re passionate about, water skiing, anatomy deep dives, and sipping wine while cooking.
