FAQs
-
At this time, Physiotherapy services in a private clinic, like Revolution Rehab, are not covered by MB Health.
-
At the base of their education, Physiotherapists are trained to work with musculoskeletal injuries in a private clinic setting and special populations such as hospital rehab after cardiac surgery or stroke rehab. Athletic Therapists are trained to work with a healthy, moving population and have training for acute on-field injuries and emergencies.
In a private clinic setting, both work with muscle, bone, and joint injuries. Both can take further education to focus on populations/conditions of interest. -
Many private insurance plans cover Physiotherapy. Each plan is different and we recommend checking with your insurer to clearly understand your coverage and any additional requirements such as a doctor’s prescription.
-
Revolution direct bills for many insurance providers listed here. For providers not listed, you would pay for the services at the clinic and submit your receipt. It usually takes 1-3 business days to be reimbursed from your insurance company.
